Former VIXEN Bassist MAXINE PETRUCCI To Release New Solo Album

September 30, 2008

Former VIXEN bassist and MADAM X guitarist Maxine Petrucci (sister of ex-VIXEN drummer Roxy Petrucci) will release a new solo album, entitled "Don't Hate Me", on October 28. According to Petrucci, "this album is loaded with what you've grown to expect from Maxine! Eleven tracks all written by me as well as all guitars, bass, and vocals! The drums are played by Charlie Grover. My sister Roxy Petrucci plays drums on two tracks as well as my brother Paul playing bass on one track. This album is leaps and bounds above my first solo release 'Titania'! I have worked very hard to retain my own style of heavy metal in this cookie cutter world of music we live in today! This album is very heavy and well written. I am not tuned down and screaming at you to prove how cool I am! There are no digital effects on my record it is all me! I doubled my guitar parts with my guitar! I doubled my vocals with my voice, not ProTools! The computer was just the tool I used to record my album not the tool to do it for me!"
